Award Winning
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Within our 12 acres we have a grove of 200 olive trees.

The varietals we grow include koroneki, verdale, frantoia and J5 olives. We harvest the olives each May and they are pressed at Rangihoua Estate which is only a couple of kilometres away.

Our Koroneiki blend has three times won a gold medal and Best in Show boutique olive oil at the national olive oil awards. In May 2020 the oil was awarded a Gold Medal in the New York International Olive Oil Competition. This is the world’s largest and most prestigious olive oil contest and its annual listing of award winners is considered the authoritative guide to the world’s best extra virgin olive oils.

In 2022 we joined with our neighbours, owners of Heriot Grove to create a new brand: Two Groves Olive Oil. We now produce a blended oil as well as two separate varietals: Picual and Frantoio. Our oils won two silver medals on their first entry to the New Zealand Olive Oil Awards.

If you are visiting us you are most welcome to ask for a tasting of our oils and they are available for sale at our home or online at twogroves.co.nz
